April 27th. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife Carolyn Smith Allen of the home Smithfield; five children Charles Parker of Wilson NC, Karlee Dublin,Raquel Dublin,and Major Clark Jr.of Smithfield NC, and Tara(GG)Gullatt of Clayton NC; three brothers Matthew Allen and Lane Allen of Kenly NC, Randolph Allen of Philadelphia Pennsylvania; two sisters Doris Lancaster of Kenly, and Jean Allen of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Three brothers proceeded him in death. Funeral Arrangements are pending at this time.

The Walter Sanders Funeral Home regrets to inform you of the transition of Mrs. Lena Mae Holder Sessions. Mrs. Lena Mae age 68 passed away on Thursday April 2, 2015 at Johnston Medical Center. Mrs. Sessions was preceded in death by her parents Ruben ad Lena Holder and three brothers Jon, Jimmy, and Matthew Holder, two sisters Thelma and Annie Mae Holder.
Lena Mae was born December 11, 1946 in Johnston County NC. Mrs. Holder was a faithful member of St. Peter Disciples of Christ Church where she served on the Usher Board, Nurse's Aide and Children's Church.
Mrs. Lena Mae leaves to cherish her memory, Husband Joe Sessions of Smithfield, NC; one daughter Edith Durham (Marvin) of Selma, NC; one son Hardy Sessions (Edna) of Kenly, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements are pending at this time.

The Walter Sanders Funeral Home would to like to inform you of the passing of Mr. Alexander "Skeet" Williams age 68 of Smithfield, NC on Sunday March 22nd.
Alexander Williams, Jr was born on May 30, 1946 in Smithfield, NC to the late Louise Chance Williams Sanders and Alexander Williams, Sr.
Skeet had a baby sister Denise "Teenine" Williams who predeceased him in 1974. He was married to the former Nubiko (Toni) Williams for 27 years. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Kristian Williams of Selma, NC. He is also survived by two sisters Sandra Williams of Smithfield, NC and Jewette Williams of Four Oaks, NC; a brother John McNeal (Mildred) of Fayetteville, NC; four nieces Sherrill Haley, Paula Waters, Dr. Katina Blue, and Whitney Knight; and one nephew Pastor Larry D. Williams, Jr; eight great nieces and nephews; one uncle Conwell "Johnny" Chance(Barbara); one aunt Irene Burgess and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Williams will be held Saturday March 28th at the JCHS Alumni Center 1110 Massey St. Smithfield. Viewing and visitation will begin at 10:00am Saturday at the Alumni Center and the homegoing ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am.Click Here to Sign Guestbook For "Skeet".

Mrs. Eason is survived by a son, B. Junior Eason(Everlena) of Goldsboro, NC; Three grandchildren Tiffany Eason of Raleigh NC, Ashley Smith of Charlotte NC, Ashley Eason of Greensboro NC; One brother Raiford Hines(Maybelle) Selma NC; Three sisters Lois Whitley(Winston) of Selma NC, Flossie Hines Selma NC, Yanetta Hines of Smithfield NC, and Irene Cannady Clayton NC.

The Walter Sanders Funeral Home regrets to inform you of the passing of Ms. Alicia Joyce Morgan, age 49 of Smithfield. Ms Morgan slipped quietly away at Johnston Medical Center on Sunday Feb. 15th. A memorial service for Ms Morgan is planned for a future date. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Perry of Raleigh, Jennifer Behr of Sanford and one son Brandon Behr of Garner, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Helenease Mitchener West, age 85 of Smithfield, NC was born Oct 4, 1929 in Johnston County NC to the late Jesse and Lena Mitchener. Mrs. West transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday Feb. 5. 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital Goldsboro, NC. Mrs. Helenease was preceded in death by her siblings Thurman, Lewis, Charles, Booker, David Mitchener and Betty Mitchener King. She is survived by three brothers Jesse, Lt. Col. James Earl and Calvin Mitchener, three sisters Louise Curtis, Eula Adeniji and Laverne Hocutt, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives all of whom will treasure memories of her.
Funeral services and viewing will take place on Wed Feb. 11 at Galillee Baptist Church 2017 Galillee Rd Smithfield, NC beginning at 12:30pm with the homegoing services beginning promptly at 1:00pm.

Mrs. Mary E. Chandler, age 76 of Smithfield, NC was born Dec. 2, 1938 in Wilson's Mills, NC. She was born to the late Lee and Cora Sanders who preceded her in death. Mary departed this life on February 2, 2015. Mary leaves to cherish her memories four sisters, Elouise Raynor, Rosa Vinson, Senora Torain, and Rebecca Sanders, Three brothers, James Sanders, Bernard Sapp, and Cornell Sanders, one uncle Jacob Sanders, and one aunt Jean Alston and a host of nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends. Mary also had had two lifelong friends Deborah Sounds and Gloria Hopkins.
The public will be allowed to visit with Mary and family on Sat. February 7th from 4:00pm until 7:00 pm in the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC. The homegoing ceremony honoring her life will be held Sun. February 8th at Interstate Ministries 4584 US Highway 70 Business West Clayton, NC beginning at 2:00pm. The body will lie in state from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the church on Sunday.
