Mr. Alton "Tuddie Bug" Alfonzo Brown
Mr. Alton “Tuddie Bug” Alfonzo Brown, age 84 of Selma, NC passed away on Sunday August 6, 2023 at Lawndale Manor in Garner, NC. “Tuddie Bug" was the son of the late Cicero and Annie Brown. He was born March 11, 1939 in Johnston County, NC.
Mr. Alton attended schools in Johnston County, upon graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served honorably for 20 years. After his retirement from the Army he held various jobs including serving as a Policeman for the Town of Selma. He was especially fond of dogs, fishing, working on cars and planting various vegetables.
“Tuddie Bug” is survived by his sons; Anthony Atkinson, Darryl Saunders, Aulston Brown, one daughter; Jackie Saunders, one sister Clarice Raynor, and a number of other relatives and friends.

Friday August 18, 2023 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S Brightleaf Blvd Smithfield, NC 27577 from 2 until 6 pm.
Funeral Arrangements:
Saturday August 19, 2023 viewing from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. Services at 12:00 noon, Howell's Chapel Church of Christ 214 E. Preston St. Selma, NC 27576.
