Mr. Demetrus Raynor (Tmeat) was born September 10th, 1926 in Selma NC Johnston County to the late Sandy Alex Raynor and Mary Jane Anderson Raynor. He departed his life on November 5th, 2019 at SECU Hospice, North Carolina
He was a devoted member of Word of Faith Christian Church and attended faithfully until failing health.
He was married to the late Ludie Williams Raynor for 64 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Demetrius Raynor Jr., of the home; one daughter Mary Raynor Isler (Floyd) of Four Oaks NC; six grandsons: Javis Raynor, Lindwood Maurice Raynor, Kevin Raynor, Quincy Burns, Lindwood Raynor Jr, Jeffrey Henry; a special love one that was called his “grandson” Marcus Faison; four granddaughters: Pamela Watson, Angela Branch (Niecey), Sherrice Isler, and Jos si Isler; one brother Nathaniel Langston and sisters Lettie Allen and Geraldine Dodd, a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be public walk-thru viewing at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield Saturday Nov. 9th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
Funeral Services for Mr. Raynor will be held Sunday November 10th at Western Assembly of Churches 9766 US 701 S. Newton Grove, NC. Viewing from 12 noon until 1:00 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm.
