The Walter Sanders Funeral Home regrets to inform you of the passing of Mr. Francis G. Van Schaick, age 73 on Tuesday evening while surrounded by family at his residence in Clayton, NC.

Mr. Van Schaick is survived by his wife Mary Van Schaick, Two sons; Francis Joseph Van Schaick (Brynn), John Gerit Van Schaick (Leigh Ann), Two daughters; Mary E. Hardie (Charles), Julianna K. Duncan (Kenny), ten grandchildren, one sister; Nancy Porter (special friend Dale Flansburg) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Van Schaick will be held Friday June 3, 2016 at St. Ann's Catholic Church 4507 US 70 Bus Hwy Smithfield, NC starting at 1:00pm, followed by a reception at First Presbyterian Church 215 S. Church St. Smithfield, NC.
