Mr. Isaac Taylor, age 81 of Selma, NC passed quietly away surrounded by his loving wife Clara M. Stephens at their residence. Mr. Taylor was born November 2, 1936 to Emanuel Tessie and Mamie Elam Taylor in N. Augusta, SC. Mr. Taylor served and retired from the US Navy.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by four brothers, and seven sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memories a wife Clara Stephens, children; Curtis Taylor, Debra Taylor, Patricia Taylor, Deloris Middleton, Sonya Taylor, Betty Perry, James Stephens and Robert Bayless II, two brothers, Charlie Taylor and Bernard Mackie and host of other relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for Sunday March 4, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church of Selma. Viewing will start at 1:00 pm followed by Eulogistic Services at 2:00pm. Mr. Taylor will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery in honor to his service in the US Navy in a private ceremony.
