Mr. Mack Sam Lassiter was born August 17, 1940 in Johnston County, NC. His parents were Sam and Enita Lassiter. Mack (Tony) transitioned on Thursday November 17, 2016 while a resident of Heartland Hospice Facility in Garner, NC. Mr. Lassiter was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Enita Lassiter, brothers Lewis Everette, Lee Alton Lassiter and sister Flora Lee Lassiter.
Mack (Tony) was educated in the Johnston County School System, following his graduation from high school he joined the US Army.
Mr. Lassiter is survived by four sisters; Mattie Broadie, Alma Joyce Lassiter, Arlethia Jackson, Mary Barfield, one brother; James Lassiter and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorial Services for Mr. Lassiter will be held Sat. November 26 th at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel starting at 1:00pm.

*Message: I did not know Mr. Lassiter personally but I married a Lassiter from Johnson County. My heart goes out to you and all his loved ones because such a loss can be overwhelming, but I personally hold on to the hope of the resurrection and know that Jehovah cannot lie I know that these words are faithful and true.
