Mr. Victor Frank Bush
was born in Jamaica New York May 8, 1945. His parents were Edward and Laura Bush both deceased. Mr. Bush transitioned at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC on Sunday March 17, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
Victor attended schools in Queens, NY where he graduated. Following graduation Victor enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served honorably till his discharge. Following his discharge from the Marines Victor returned to NY and enrolled in Kingsborough Community College and later Brooklyn College where he received his Bachelors Degree.
He was employed by the VA Hospital in Brooklyn NY for 31 years where he retired. After retirement Victor returned to work at the Adult Daycare Center in Brooklyn for 10 years.
Victor leaves to mourn his loss, a wife Barbara Ann Bush, Two sons; Eric Jones, and Tyrone Anderson, one sister Joyce Reid, 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bush will be held on Thursday March 21, 2019 at First Missionary Baptist Church 40 Durant Rd Wilson's Mills NC 27593 viewing from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Funeral services beginning at 3:00 pm. There will also be a walk thru viewing on Wednesday night from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC 27577.
The Family wishes to have potted plants in lieu of fresh flowers.
