Mr. William Anthony "Rooster" Barnes
Mr. William Anthony "Rooster" Barnes, age 65 of Kenly passed away suddenly at his home on Friday October 14, 2022. Rooster was born in Johnston County on March 15, 1957, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Annie Barnes.
William was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Annie Barnes, two sons; Steven Barnes, and Brian Barnes, brothers; Paul Barnes, Robert Barnes Jr., and Willard Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter; Angela Katrina Barnes Holloman, grand-daughter; Promise Ajuane Pearce, sisters; Betty Joyner, Yvonne Bunch and brother; Claude Barnes, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He graduated from North Johnston High School in Kenly, NC. Mr. Barnes was formerly employed by General Cable in Kenly, NC and John Deere of Cary, NC. Anthony held licenses as an electrician and welder. His most recent employment of over fifteen years was with Conestoga of Kenly, NC.
Walk-Thru Viewing: Sunday October 23, 2022 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Funeral Services:
Monday October 24, 2022 at Mincey Chapel OFWB Church 401 N Gardner Ave Kenly, NC 12:00 noon. All guests are asked to wear facial coverings. Services will stream live on our Facebook page (Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations) starting at 11:55 am.
