Mrs. Joyce Ann Grove Session age 74 of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health. Mrs. Session was born September 14, 1946 in the Cleveland area of Johnston County, Her parents were the late Alva Mae Groves and William Groves.
Mrs. Joyce Ann leaves to cherish her memories her husband Donnell Session, one son; Donzell Session Jr., one daughter; Crystal Shanti Tyson, and Shaniqua Duff whom she treated like a daughter, sisters; Anna Groves Smith, Joyce Allison, Everline Johnson, Margaret Woodard and Debra Pettiway, brothers; Conrad Groves, Fontelle Groves, and Ricky Groves, a host of other relatives and friends.

Friday February 19, 2021 at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. No gathering inside with a limit of 10 persons. Facial coverings are required.
Funeral Service
Saturday February 20, 2021 at Shiloh Christian Church 211 Durham St., Smithfield at 12:00 noon. Facial Coverings are requitred and there will be a limit on persons in attendance. All must adhere to the guidlines setforth by Shiloh Christian Church.
