Ms. Yanetta "Cookie" Hines

Ms. Yanetta Hines, affectionately known as “Chicken”, was born in January 29, 1939 in Johnston County to the late Raeford Louis Hines and the late Ora Mae Sanders Hines. She succumbed to breast cancer and entered eternal rest on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at Clayton House Assisted Living Facility.
Yanetta’s education ended in the 10th grade after realizing that she was ill. Obtaining a high school diploma rested heavily on her mind. So much so that she pursued the GED program. Yanetta began working at an early age tending to the daily activities of the family business of farming. She also worked for a short time as an Assembler. Her passion for grooming followed her from youth and resulted in a remarkable youthful appearance in the present.
In addition to her parents, Yanetta Hines was preceded in death by her siblings; Maland Hines, Hopineal Best, Soisette Eason, and Lois Whitley.
She leaves to cherish her memory siblings; Flossie Hines, Raeford Hines (Maybelle) of Selma, N.C. and Irene Cannady of Clayton, N.C., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and the staff of Clayton House and Hospice of NC.

Funeral Service: Tuesday July 18, 2023 at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 11:00 am
