Annie Doris Sanders was born on December 13, 1932 in Johnston County to the late John and Bessie Wiggins. She was a member of Juniper Grove Disciple Church where she was an active member participating in the choir, home mission and other activities until her health declined.

She attended Forest Hills School in Four Oaks, North Carolina. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who also spent time as a domestic worker. She was well known in her community always smiling and never met a stranger.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son Fredrick Sanders of Selma, NC; three daughters: Doris Ann Sanders-Ford (Dorro) of Four Oaks, NC; Sharon McCray Hinton (Louis) of Four Oaks, NC; Regina Dublin (Elton) of Freeport, TX; one brother Mr. Nathan Wiggins of Freemont, NC; two sisters Mrs. Barbara Chance of Goldsboro, NC, Mrs. Oprah Archie of Richmond Va ; a

brother in law Mr. Conwell Chance, a host of grands, great grands and great great grands, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two daughters; Rebecca Sanders, Wanda Paul; one son: Ronnie Sanders; one grandson: Steven Proctor; two brothers Elijah Ingram, Jessie Wiggins; four sisters Fannie Wiggins, Sue Williams, Bettie Rattliff, and Mary Mitchener.

Services for Mrs. Sanders will take place Wed Feb 17th 2016 at Juniper Grove Disciples Church 5350 Highway 301 South Four Oaks, NC. Viewing starts at 1:00pm and the Celebration of Life begins at 2:00pm.
