The angel of death has visited us and taken from our midst Brother Michael C. Davis. Our Heavenly Father called him home on January 30, 2016. Michael was born on September 15, 1972 to the late Elton and Patricia Ann Davis in Smithfield, NC .

Michael was a graduate of the North Carolina School For The Deaf in Wilson, NC in 1992. While a student at the North Carolina School of Deaf, he lived on campus and had many friends.

Michael loved all sports and he played football at his school. His favorite college team was North Carolina State and was hoping for the Super Bowl.

Michael did various jobs and had a heart of gold. He would do things to help

you if you asked and he never complained. Michael was always smiling and happy. It was never a concern that he could not speak or hear. He became a new creature that the Lord took home to be with him.

Graveside Services for Mr. Davis will be held Saturday February 6th at The Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at the corner of US Highway 70 West and NC 210 starting at 1:00 pm.
