Mr. David Callejas Arroyo, age 39 departed this world on Thursday Oct. 17, 2019. David was born October 14, 1980 in Veracruz, Mexico his parents are David Callejas Habana and Carmela Arroyo Chacon.

David was educated at Eastern Wayne Middle School, Goldsboro NC and lived in Smithfield, NC for over 18 years. David loved working on cars and had a variety of other skills. He will be remembered mostly for helping others and being generous. David made those around him laugh with his wit.

David is survived by his parents David Habana and Carmela Arroyo Chacon, three sons; Dominic Callejas, William Callejas, Luis Callejas, one daughter; Jazmin Callejas, four sisters; Jazmin Wuntke, Yuliana Arroyo, Yaquelin Arroyo, Yessenia Callejas, one brother; Octavio Arroyo and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Arroyo will be held Thursday Oct. 24, 2019 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 starting at 2:00 pm. Visitation/Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thurs October 24prior to the funeral services.
