Ms Martha McEachern McClearn deceased Saturday October 5, 2019 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Ms. McClearn was born July 27, 1935 in Johnston County, her parents were Henry and Flora McEachern.

She attended Johnston County Schools. Ms. Martha worked many years with Fieldcrest Mills in Smithfield.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one son; Gregory Gordon Taylor, five daughters; Flora Jane Freeland, (Tammy) Noreen Freda Baker, Estervettie Jean Hunter, Roselyn Elizabeth McClearn Gibson, Ava Karen Lee Williams, and siblings; Mary Williams, Marvin Sutton and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday October 11, 2019 at the St. John AME Church 400 West Watson St Selma, NC from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services for Ms. McClearn will take place on Saturday October 12, 2019 at the Burning Bush Holiness Church 714 W. Market St., Smithfield, NC at 12:00 noon.
