Mr. Darryl Edward Surrett “Dabby” son of the late Jean Surrett and Peter Paterson was born on October 17, 1962 in Smithfield, NC. Darryl entered the Master’s Joy on January 11, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health Smithfield, NC.
Darryl was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lewis Surrett and Calvin Surrett.
He leaves to Cherish his memories, his beloved wife, Cynthia Surrett, one sister; Rosolyn Hooks, and four brothers; Kenneth Surrett, Gerald Surrett, Peter Surrett and Decarris Surrett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Walk-Thru viewing-Monday January 18, 2021 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Facial coverings are required inside the building.
Chapel Service-
Private Funeral Service limited to 25 persons (first preference will be to immediate family members) in the funeral home chapel Tuesday January 19, 2021. starting at 3:00 pm. Facial coverings and social distancing is required in the chapel. Services will Facebook Live stream on our Facebook page starting at 2:55 pm.
