We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Jesse Lee Pratt, age 64 of Smithfield. Mr. Pratt slipped quietly away at the SECU Hospice House on Monday Sept. 18 with family surrounding him. Jesse Lee Pratt was born to the late Alexander Pratt and Rose Ella McNeil Pratt in Bennettsville, SC.

Mr. Pratt married Vernice Stevens and was blessed with 9 children Junior Lee Pratt(Deceased),Denise Williams (Stacy) of Smithfield N.C., Janice Whitaker (Henry) of Smithfield N.C., Jessie Junior Pratt of Smithfield N.C., Jessica Pratt (Deceased), Norma Jean Pratt (Deceased), Jamie Mae Pratt of Bennettsville S.C., Dennis Lewis Pratt of Bennettsville S.C., James Lee Pratt of Bennettsville S.C.

Jesse was one of nine boys; Alexander Pratt(Deceased), Preston Pratt(Deceased), Fred Pratt(Deceased) James Andre Pratt(Deceased) Lonnie Pratt (Deceased), Author Curtis Pratt (Deceased), Jerome Pratt of Smithfield NC , Jennings So Pratt (Deceased) four Sisters; Arletha Pratt Greene(Deceased),Rosa Pratt Thomas(Deceased), Alice Mae Pratt(Deceased), Pearlene Pratt Thomas of Smithfield N.C., four grandchildren; Darrell Pratt, Derrick McCall, Marquis Davis, Trevon Davis, two great granddaughters; Quimanni Davis, Armanni Davis and one great grandson Jamarion Hinton. A host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Pratt will be held Friday Sept. 22 at St. Peter Disciple of Christ, Viewing starts at 12:00 noon followed by services at 1:00 pm.
