Mr. Napoleon Shumpert, age 76 of Smithfield, NC passed away November 17, 2020 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born August 11, 1944 in Laurens County SC. His parents were Willie and Essie Shumpert.
Mr. Shumpert was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Decoris Shumpert.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of the home Bernadine Sumpert, one daughter; Anitra Nicole Shumpert Williams of Smithfield, NC., two sons; Brian Keith Shumpert of Gray Court, SC., Scott Shumpert of Ft. Inn, SC., three grandchildren; Christopher Decoris Williams, Danielle Lashay’e Lynn of Smithfield, NC., Jacquan Brodie of Bennettsville, SC., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services
for Mr. Shumpert will be held Monday November 23, 2020 at Mitchener Memorial Baptist Church 911 Blount St., Smithfield, NC., starting at 11:00 am. (Facial coverings and social distancing is mandatory)
