Mr. Omar R. Vazquez
Mr. Omar R. Vazquez, age 41 formerly of the Bronx, NY passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 at his residence in Selma, NC. Mr. Vazquez was born in Manati, Puerto Rico September 10, 1980. He was the son of Adelaido Vazquez and Blanca Eliza Robles.
Omar, was raised in the Bronx, NY and later moved to Selma, NC. He was known to many as the life of the party a very fun loving guy, magician, singer, dancer, joker, and sportsman. Omar was always respectful to others and above all he will be remembered as a great son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His hobbies were basketball, baseball, archery. Mostly he was a hard working man.
Omar leaves to cherish his memories his daughter; Kassandra Vazquez, mother; Blanca E. Robles, father; Adelaido Vazquez, brother; Jesus Vazquez, sisters; Blanca Milagros Vazquez, Nancy Margarita Vazquez, Virna Liz Vazquez, Rosa Janet Vazquez.
In lieu of flowers the family would request potted plants.
Memorial Services
for Mr. Omar R. Vazquez will be held Thursday December 23, 2021 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 from 12:00 noon until 3:00pm. Facial coverings and social distancing is required. Maximum amount of persons in the building will be limited to 30 persons at any time. Services will be live streamed on our Facebook page from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm.
