Mrs. Gloria Sanders Dublin
Mrs. Gloria Sanders Dublin age 86 formerly of Smithfield, NC transitioned peacefully on Monday December 11, 2023 while a resident at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.
Mrs. Gloria was the daughter of Rudolph and Helen Sanders. She attended J.C.T.S. Johnston County Training School in Smithfield. Her hobbies included cooking, and planting flowers.
Mrs. Dublin was a longtime member of St. Peter Disciple of Christ Church an served in many capacities including teaching Sunday School, serving on the Mother Board, and the Pastor's Aide committee. She worked many years for Dr. William G. Lee, a local dentist and in Johnston County Government as a custodian.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Helen Sanders, husband Earl Lewis Dublin, and son Tony Dublin. Mrs. Dublin leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Evelyn Dublin, Edna Dublin, two sons; Kenneth Dublin (Andrea), Kevin Dublin, two sisters; Mary Ann Fields, Helen Singletary, a host of grandchildren, great-grand children other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Monday December 18, 2023 at St. Peter Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church 1011 E. Massey St Smithfield, NC 27577.
