Ms. Mary Magdalene Smith, age 90 was born Oct. 22, 1927 in Smithfield, NC to Catherine Smith-Hines. Ms Mary transitioned on Thursday Nov. 30, 2017 while a resident at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC.
In addition to her mother Mrs. Catherine Smith-Hines, Ms Smith was predeceased by a brother Donnell Hines, two sisters; Alberta Hines, Mamie Furlow, one son Arthur Smith Jr., and one daughter; Mary Louise McCoy. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly McClamb, one son; Robert Smith, several grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends
Funeral services for Ms. Mary M. Smith will be held Saturday December 9, 2017 at New Generation Christian Church 4423 Wilsons Mills Rd Wilsons Mills, NC. Viewing/visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by Eulogistic Services at 1:00 pm. Friends may also view on Friday December 8, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at The Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC.
