Peggy A. Newsome was born October 12, 1950 in Pine Level, North Carolina. Her parents were Elijah Newsome and Pearl Bagley She passed away November 8, 2017 in Washington DC. Peggy graduated in 1968 from Richard B. Harrison High School, Selma North Carolina. Later moving to Washington, DC to start her career in the Banking Industry where she worked until 1995.
She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter Felica (Kelvin) Dent, Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Vanessa (Troy) Sellers, Four Oaks, NC, Tosha Newsome, Durham, NC; two grandchildren Kelvin Dent & Zyra Dent, Fayetteville, NC, one Sister-in-Law Mamie Newsome, Smithfield, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Memorial Services for Ms. Peggy Newsome will be held Saturday November 18, 2017 in the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel beginning at 11:00 am.
