Mrs. Mattie Sanders Lee
Mrs. Mattie Sanders Lee age 95 was born in Johnston County, NC April 27, 1928. Her parents were Thomas and Corina Sanders. Mrs. Lee gained her wings on September 11, 2023 while a resident at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC.
Ms. Mattie attended school in Wilson Mills, NC. She was also a devoted member of Fuller Street Pentecostal Holiness Church in Smithfield, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Millard Lee Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Lonnie E. (Mary) Bell, one daughter Earlene Belle, a number of grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Viewing: Saturday September 16, 2023 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Funeral Services: Sunday September 17, 2023 at the Fuller Street Pentecostal Holiness Church 1402 Fuller St Smithfield, NC viewing from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm and funeral starting at 1:00 pm. Services will stream live on our Facebook page starting at 12:55 pm.
