Mrs. Paulette M. Thorne
Paulette Morgan Thorne was born in Washington DC on July 15, 1951. She later moved to NC where she lived on the family farm with her grandparents.
She attended Johnston Central High School and later graduated from Smithfield Selma High School in 1971.
Paulette took care of her grandmother in her final years and found a love for taking care of people. She later worked as a CNA at Britthaven and WakeMed where she enjoyed taking care of the patients.
She had a love of reading and watching westerns. Paulette always had a smile on her face when spending time with children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Thorne leaves to cherish her memories her husband; James Thorne, Daughters’ Michelle Bridges ( Kelly) Shonda Monk ( Mike), Sons, Thomas Thorne and Patrick Thorne, 17 Grandchildren and 4 great-children.
Viewing:
Monday July 8, 2024 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC.
Funeral Service: Tuesday July 9, 2024 at 11:00am at Good Samaritan Baptist Church 9433 White Oak Rd., Garner, NC 27529. Services will stream on our Facebook page starting at 11:25am.
