Mrs. Annie M. McDaniel

Mrs. Annie M. McDaniel departed this world on Sunday June 23, 2024, at her residence in Smithfield, NC.
Annie was born in Bentonville, NC., May 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Eason Atkinson. 

Annie spent most of her working life doing administrative work for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Upon retirement, Annie enjoyed working in nursing homes creating activities for the residents.

 She was a loving, God fearing woman. She was a wife, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and a friend to many. To know her was to love her, deeply. Annie is survived by her husband; William McDaniel, children; Timothy McDaniel, Derrick McDaniel, Travis McDaniel, bonus son; Derrick Holder, brother; Alonzo Lee, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Viewing: Thursday June 27, 2024, at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd Smithfield, NC from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Funeral Services:  Friday June 28, 2024, at Smithfield First SDA Church 813 South Fifth Street Smithfield, NC at 11:00 am.
