Ruby Lee Dublin, was born February 20, 1935 in Smithfield, NC to Sylvia Sanders Royal and reared by Robert Royal. Mrs. Dublin departed this life on Tuesday October 27, 2020 while a resident at Springbrook Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Clayton, NC. She lived most of her life in Smithfield and Selma NC, with the exception of a few years in Newark New Jersey.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Debra Williams,(James) of Clayton, NC, one son, Rex Dublin (Cynthia) of Trenton, NC., one daughter in law, Anne Pettite of NJ., one brother, Clint Royal Sr., of Rocky Mount NC., she also leaves a special cousin Tommy Sanders and long time friends Juanita Poston, Larry East. Mrs. Dublin leaves 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who also mourn her loss.
Viewing: Friday November 13, 2020 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Brightleaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC., from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. (Facial coverings are required with limited persons allowed inside the chapel).
Graveside Services: Saturday November 14, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery corner of Hwy 210 and US 70 west Smithfield, NC. Service begins at 12:00 noon. (Facial Coverings and Social Distancing are required) Services will stream live on our Facebook page(Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services) at 11:55 am.
