Mrs. Sylvia P. Brown-Williams

Sylvia Brown-Williams, of Smithfield, North Carolina, was born on July 17,1961 to the late Jessie Chance Brown-Lassiter and David Dew. She began a life filled with love and devotion to her family and friends.

Sylvia was employed in the healthcare field for many years and retired as a Media Assistant for Johnston County Schools after 26 years. Sylvia was a loving mother pouring her heart and soul into raising her two children: Myhi Lee and Byric Williams, along with her loving grandson Myler.

Sylvia is survived by her husband Ricky Williams, her daughter Myhi Lee (Patrice), her son Byric Williams. Her grandson Myler, One brother Thomas Brown (Wheatley), two sisters Cynthia Brown (Sampson), Rosa Brown-McMillan (Allen). She cherished her many nieces, nephews and friends cultivating a loving lifelong relationship with of them. Sylvia was a beacon of light and warmth in the lives of everyone she touched. With a heart generous beyond measure, she offered love, guidance, and support freely and unconditionally.

Graveside Service: Selma Memorial Gardens, Selma, NC., Sunday October 13, 2024, at 1:30 pm.
