Mrs. Velma Lee Watson, age 90 of Arlington, VA was born May 13, 1930 in Smithfield, NC. Her parents were Alfonzo and Vassie Graham.

She was married to Lee Hillary Watson(deceased).

Mrs. Velma Watson (Boot) was a much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister received her angel wings on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones. After bravely confronting her illness with a good fight, she peacefully transitioned into her eternal resting place. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfonzo and Vassie Graham, husband Lee Hillary Watson, and grandson Tracy Graham.

Mrs. Watson is survived by, Emma Graham (daughter) Monica Graham & Alicia Hutchinson (granddaughters), Quentin & Jahvon Hutchinson (great grandsons) Brandi Hutchinson great granddaughter and many other relatives and friends.

Viewing/Visitation  Thursday September 17, 2020 Public from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC. (Facial coverings are required)
Funeral Services Friday September 18, 2020 viewing starting at 10:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am to be held at Shiloh Christian Church 211 Durham St. Smithfield, NC. (Facial coverings are required along with social distancing)
