Ms. Jane Ester Moore
Jane Ester Moore left us on July 13th, 2024, while a patient at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. She was born on December 13th, 1962, in an unknown location due to her being put up for adoption at a young age. She lived in Four Oaks and was known mostly as being the paper lady for several people in the community. She delivered the News & Observer in the rural area between Four Oaks, Meadow, Bentonville, and Newton Grove.
To honor her memory, she leaves behind two sons: Michael Dewayne Moore Jr and Cody Wayne Moore, three: sisters Paula, Mary, and Annette, her childhood caregiver Faye Robinson whom she thought of as her mother, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was very proud of both Michael and Cody, and she did a fantastic job at being a mother and mentor for both of them.
Memorial Services:
Saturday July 27, 2024, at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
