Joyce Ingram Sanders age 86 was born April 8, 1934 in Johnston County NC to the late Emma Line Smith.
She departed this life on July 28, 20 at the Pruitt Health-Carolina in Durham, NC.
Mrs. Sanders leaves to cherish fond memories five nieces; Mablerene McFadgen, Wanda Burns, of Smithfield, NC ., Peggy McLean, Priscilla Smith of Selma, NC., Carolyn (Larry) Sanders of Clayton, NC., one nephew; Russell Hines Jr., of Smithfield, NC., very special friends, Sandra Gail (James) McNeil of Saint Pauls, NC., Maurice Wiggins of Smithfield, NC., and a very very special partner in life James McNeil of the home.
Walk thru viewing will be Sunday August 2, 2020 at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Chapel from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm (Face Coverings are required), Graveside funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 am at Selma Memorial Gardens Selma, NC. (Facial Coverings and Social Distancing are required).

Message: I am so saddened by the loss of this beautiful lady. Ms. Joyce lived in the house that I was raised in on North 7th street. She lived beside my Mama until my Mama's death. She always checked on my Mama and helped her in her last years. Her and my Mama, Olive Creech, became the best of friends. Ms. Joyce was a very special lady to our family.
