Ms. Marjorie Mitchener
Ms. Marjorie Mitchener age 91 passed away on Friday April 21, 2023 while a resident at Four Oaks Senior Living Center in Four Oaks, NC. She was the daughter of Rebecca Mitchener and was born in Johnston County, NC.
Ms. Marjorie worked for a number of years at the Chicken Barn in Smithfield as a cook until she retired.
She was predeceased by her mother, Rebecca Mitchener, brothers; Harold Taylor, Robert Taylor, sisters; Lena Mitchener, and Betty Lou Taylor Williams.
Ms. Marjorie is survived by her special niece Shelia Sanders Powell, along with several other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Viewing:
Wednesday April 26, 2023 at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Brightleaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Graveside Service:
Thursday April 27, 2023 at the Lee-Mithchener Cemetery 190 Halton Ln., selma, NC at 11:00 am.
