Ruthie departed her earthly life on November 10, 2019 at Laurels of Forest Glenn Garner, North Carolina. She was born in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late Bella and Owen Turner Sr.

Ruthie received her early education at Short Journey School in Smithfield, North Carolina and graduated from Johnston County Training School High School Smithfield North Carolina. She was employed with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where she meet the love of her life Shelton Eason. “Easy” and worked for 25 Years.

Ruthie leaves lasting loving memories with her devoted husband, Shelton Eason “Easy" of the home in Clayton, NC. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Donte, Shonquetta, Kiara, LP, Mahlik, Daseanta along with two great grandchildren; Kaiden, Kamari, Three sisters; Dora, Melva, Theresa, One brother; Owen Turner Jr., Sister in law; Esther(Harold Royal), Uncles Dr. Ruffin Turner, Frank Hodges, Joe Hodges, Aunt Clara Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; including the Clayton community.

The public is invited to view Mrs. Eason on Friday Nov. 15th at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel from 1pm until 6pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday Nov. 16th at Johnston Piney Grove Baptist Church 1691 Barber Mill Rd Clayton, NC viewing starts at 11:00 am until 11:30 am, followed immediately by Funeral Services at 11:30 am.

Interment Pinecrest Memorial Park Clayton, NC.
