Lillie Mae Henry Richardson was born July 16, 1945 to the late Walter Roosevelt Henry and Reverend Ada Williams Henry.
She received her education at Short Journey School in Johnston County, NC. She loved playing bingo, fishing, having lots of fun and laughter with her family. Lillie Mae loved to sing at all the Family Reunions she attended, even if she wasn't on the program. She never met a stranger, she loved everyone.
Lillie Mae Henry Richardson was preceded in death by her husband Garfield Richardson, five sisters; Hazel Robinson, Vernell Williams, Earlene Williams, Dorothy Sanders, Mattie Lee Henry, two grandchildren and a son-in-law Eddie Johnson. Those
left to cherish her memories includes one daughter; Minister Cynthia Johnson of Smithfield, NC, three sons; Robin Henry of Selma, NC, Detroit Henry (Annette) of Dunn, NC, Cleveland Henry of Rahway, NJ, one sister; Mary Nwoke of Lawerenceville, GA, two brothers; Walter Fred Henry (Carolyn) of Selma, NC, Walter Henry Jr. of Smithfield, NC, seven step children, nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Sat. September 26, 2015 at Church of God of Prophecy 306 Elizabeth St Selma, NC starting at 1:00pm.
