Mr. Dewey Edward Wood, Sr. was born August 18, 1944 to Helen and Dewy Wood in Smithfield, NC. Mr. Wood entered into eternal rest Sunday Sept. 20, 2015 at his home in Middlesex, NC.

His family will continue his legacy of Love. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years Constance Lee Wood of the home; two sons Dewey Edward Wood Jr. of the home, and Demetrius Montrel Wood(Candace) of Kenly, North Carolina; two grandchildren Master Tristan and Ashley Wood; one Aunt Ms. Margaret L. Dunston and a host of cousins and friends

Funeral Services for Mr. Wood will be held Friday Sept. 25, 2015 at the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel, 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC. Viewing will begin at 11:00am followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 noon.
