Mr. Lenwood Leroy Whitley, age 78 was the son of the late George and Nora Jane Whitley. Mr. Whitley transitioned from earth to heavenly reward on Friday October 2, 2015 at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY. "Len" graduated from the Johnston County School system and served briefly in the United States Navy.

Wilsons Mills, NC, Diane Ferrell of Selma, NC, Regina Whitley of Selma, NC; two aunts Fannie Wilder of Wilsons Mills, NC, Charlotte Robinson of Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday Oct. 10, 2015 at the Johnston Central Alumni Center 1110 Massey St. Smithfield, NC. Viewing and visitation begins at 1:00pm and Homegoing Services will start at 2:00pm.
