Bruce Wood Levinger age 64 deceased Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Wake Medical Center Raleigh, NC following a brief illness. Bruce was born Friday 13, 1953 in sunny Southern California, to Ruth Levinger (deceased).
Bruce attended and graduated from high school in California following graduation he served in the Army in 1971 as a radar crewman in Vietnam for one year and returned home safely and completed another year of active duty in the states. Following his tour of duty Bruce served in the National Guard thru 1977.
Bruce dabbled in a variety of things; electronics, fireworks, etc. he always had a smile, a story and a laugh for every situation. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Ms. Ruth Levinger. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Kathy Levinger, two children; Chris Neher (Alli), David Levinger, two grandchildren; Steven, Ashley and many other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Levinger will be held in the Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday July 29, 2017 beginning at 4:00pm.

We just saw Bruce last weekend when we were at Raleigh Oaks. I talked to him for a while. When I mentioned that I remembered him from last summer, he said "Well I never left!" He certainly did have good stories. I'm sorry for your loss.
