Mr. Morris Mayo Sanders
Morris Mayo Sanders, age 81 passed away on May 25, 2024. Originally, Morris was born in Zebulon, NC but raised in Smithfield, NC. Morris leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born on July 8, 1942, to Daisy Sanders Tomlinson and raised by her husband George Tomlinson both deceased.
Morris is survived by his three children with Minister Johnetta E. Lee: Anya, Maya, and Morris Jr., and by his nine children by the love of his life, Elizabeth Johns (deceased): Darlene, Kenya, Daya, Marvin, Tiffany, Nicole, Ebony and Dominique, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial Services:
Saturday June 22, 2024, at the Johnston Central Alumni Center, 1110 Massey Street, Smithfield, NC 27577 starting at 2:00pm.
