Barbara Jean Smith
Barbara Jean Smith aka (BJ) aged 68, went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2024, in Raleigh NC. Barbara was born in the Bronx, New York on July 19, 1955. She lived in Queens New York; Ms. Smith leaves cherished memories of love and kindness that can light up a room.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Robert Everett and Bernice Fields Everett: Brother Marvin Kirkley, sister Hassie Walker, and brother Robert Everett Junior.
In her memory, she leaves three children Shajuana Massey,(Obataiye) Danyell Smith, and Adel Patrick(Hubert)as well as several grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Barbara leaves 5 living sisters, Priscilla Loney, Adrena Banks, Steptober Harvey, Shandell Harvey, and Catherine Bethua.

Message: Barbara I loved you as if you were my sister. i am going to miss you. we go back so so many years I can’t even remember we met in junior high school when I was fighting and we’ve been friends since but you really were my sister from a different mother. My mother was your godmother. Well, you got your wings baby fly fly fly. I love you.
