Mrs. Nellie E. Green, 91 of Smithfield, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Thur. Jan 22, 2015. Mother Green was born Dec. 29, 1923 to the late George and Callie Cole in Johnston County NC. Mother Green is survived by one sister; Dorothy Cole, Greensboro, NC; three brothers George Cole Jr.,Eatontown, NJ, Charles Cole(Lucy) and Walter Cole(Sandra), Fayetteville, NC and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wed. Jan 28th at The Walter Sanders Funeral Home Chapel 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd. Smithfield, NC from 4:.00pm until 7:00pm and the Homegoing Celebration will be on Thu Jan 29th at the Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Church 9766 Highway 701 Newton Grove, NC viewing beginning at 12 noon services immediately following at 1:00pm.
